1. Introduction
Welcome to GGPing. GGPing is an Android application for discovering games, comparing available offers, tracking game prices, creating price alerts and receiving related notifications.
GGPing is designed with data minimization in mind. We aim to process only the information needed to operate accounts and app features, provide subscriptions, display advertisements where applicable, deliver notifications, maintain security and keep the service reliable.

3. Information We Process
GGPing account
When you create an account, GGPing processes the information required to authenticate you and maintain your account. This includes your email address and authentication information. Passwords are not stored in plain text; the service stores a cryptographic password hash used for authentication.
Price alerts and app-related account data
When you use account-based features, GGPing may store information needed to provide them, such as games you track, target-price alert settings, notification-related settings and information needed to determine which GGPing plan and features are available to your account.
Subscription information
GGPing may process limited subscription-related information needed to determine whether Free, Plus or Pro access should be available and to maintain entitlement status. Payment card details are not provided to GGPing when a purchase is processed through Google Play.
Technical, diagnostic and notification information
GGPing and service providers used by the App may process technical information needed to operate, secure and diagnose the service. Depending on the service and your settings, this can include app and device information, operating-system and app versions, IP address, Firebase installation identifiers, notification tokens or identifiers, crash reports and diagnostic information.
Advertising information
Where advertisements are displayed, Google AdMob and related Google advertising technologies may process advertising identifiers, device and technical information, IP address, approximate location derived from technical signals, ad interactions and other information required for ad delivery, measurement, fraud prevention and, where permitted, personalization.
4. How and Why We Use Information
We process information only for defined purposes, including:
- creating, authenticating and maintaining your GGPing account;
- providing game discovery, price tracking, alerts and notifications;
- determining Free, Plus or Pro access and restoring subscription entitlements;
- displaying advertisements in versions or plans where ads apply;
- operating, protecting, troubleshooting and improving the reliability of GGPing;
- preventing abuse and maintaining service security; and
- complying with applicable legal obligations.
Where the GDPR applies, processing necessary to provide your account and requested GGPing features is generally based on performance of the service requested by you. Processing required by law is based on legal obligations. Security, abuse prevention and service reliability may be based on our legitimate interests where those interests are not overridden by your rights. Advertising-related processing that legally requires consent is performed on the basis of that consent.
5. Advertising and Consent
GGPing uses Google AdMob to display advertisements where applicable. Google and its advertising partners may process technical information and identifiers to deliver, measure and protect advertising services.
Where required by applicable law, GGPing uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to present privacy choices and request consent for advertising-related processing. Depending on your region and available choices, advertising may be personalized, non-personalized or otherwise limited.
You may be able to review or change available advertising privacy choices through the privacy options provided in the App, your Android device or Google services, where applicable.
6. Subscriptions and Payments
GGPing Plus and GGPing Pro subscriptions purchased in the Android App are handled through Google Play Billing. Google processes the payment transaction and payment credentials. GGPing does not receive or store your payment card number.
GGPing receives or maintains only the information needed to verify and provide the appropriate subscription access. Subscription renewal, cancellation and payment management for Google Play purchases are handled through Google Play.
7. Third-Party Services
GGPing relies on service providers to operate specific parts of the App. These may include:
- Google Play Billing — subscription purchases and subscription management;
- Google AdMob — advertising;
- Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) — advertising consent and privacy choices;
- Firebase Cloud Messaging — delivery of push notifications;
- Firebase Crashlytics — crash diagnostics and app reliability, where enabled;
- Google Analytics for Firebase — app usage measurement and analytics, where enabled.
These providers may process information under their own terms and privacy policies and, depending on the service, may act as a processor on our behalf or as an independent controller for their own processing activities.
9. International Data Transfers
Some service providers used by GGPing, including Google services, operate globally. As a result, information may be processed in countries outside your country of residence, including outside the European Economic Area. Where required, such transfers are subject to safeguards provided by applicable data-protection law and the relevant provider's contractual arrangements.
10. Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information processed by GGPing. Communication with the production GGPing service uses encrypted HTTPS connections. Passwords are not stored in plain text.
No online service can guarantee absolute security, but we aim to limit the data collected and restrict access to information needed to operate the service.
11. Data Retention and Account Deletion
Account information and account-based GGPing data are retained while your account is active and for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, resolve security or operational issues, and meet applicable legal obligations.
You can delete your account from within the GGPing App. An external account-deletion request option is also available at ggping.app/delete-account. Account deletion removes or schedules for deletion the personal data associated with your GGPing account, except information that must be retained for a limited period where required by law, security, fraud prevention or the technical operation of backups.
Information processed by third-party services may be retained according to the provider's own retention rules.
12. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights concerning your personal data. Under the GDPR, these can include the right to request access, rectification, erasure or restriction of processing, the right to object to certain processing, the right to data portability where applicable, and the right to withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent.
Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent data-protection supervisory authority. In Poland, this is the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych — UODO).

13. Children
GGPing is not designed as a service directed specifically at young children. If applicable law requires parental or guardian consent for particular processing, we will apply the relevant requirements and advertising privacy settings.
14. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when GGPing, its service providers or applicable legal requirements change. The current version will be published on this page and the “Last updated” date will be revised when material changes are made.
